My credit score has been dropping consistently since I first got my credit card about 1 year ago.
According to Credit Karma, I'm at 510 (TransUnion) and 540 (Equifax)
I have a $300 secured visa credit card via my local credit union, and my objective was to soon move onto a greater credit line. I don't even know if this will be possible now due to my abysmal scores.
I have had 3 hard pulls (2 from the credit union in order to qualify as an applicant and 1 for a credit card application to another bank), 3 accounts on my credit report (current credit union, and 2 closed student loan accounts that have been paid off in full), a credit card utilization of ~30% (about $100 a month) and 8 out of 10 payments made on time (the 2 late payments have been paid off in full and were due to processing issues between myself and my credit union).
Sorry for the long post, but, it seems that these scores are very low when considering that everything is paid off and I've been pretty reasonable with usage of my credit card. What am I not taking into account/what should I do differently?
Thanks
Addendum: I should maybe also mention that I started at around the 650 range when I was originally accepted for this credit card.
