I filed my taxes for the first time for the year of 2017 by using Turbotax. I paid the below amount for Turbotax premier.
TURBOTAX ONLINE PREMIER TAX YEAR 2017 PREP = $79.99
TURBOTAX ONLINE STATE NY TAX YEAR 2017 PREP = $39.99
Total $130.63 after sales tax.
I just blindly did it myself via their website. Did I pay full price? There is a deal on Amazon for Turbotax premier + state for like $40 or something. Does that mean if I purchase this, I won't have to pay the $130.63, or any extra fees while filing, saving myself $90?
I just filed my salary W-2, student loans and cryptocurrency.
If I also want to file taxes for my family, do I need to purchase more copies, or can I somehow manage to get more than 1 use from 1 purchase of Turbotax?
