TL;DR: Looking for an inexpensive smartphone that'll last through planned obsolescence. Is it possible or do I have to pony up to The Man?

My phone (a Nokia Lumia 635) is slowly getting beaten to death by planned obsolescence. I've really enjoyed it's uses, and I still do despite the halved battery life and lack of any GPS function (I can't even back up contact info or do anything involving network connectivity). As much as I hate to part with my first and once incredibly reliable device, it's clear that I need to move on.

So I turn to this subreddit (and probably a few others in a cross-post). I could use some help looking for a long-lasting device. I'm not looking for too much into it, but there's a few requirements:

1) Sub-$100 pricetag, preferably sub-$50. I like shopping thriftily, and I'm not into the fancifulness of flashy phones.

2) Tonka toughness. I like my phone like my Game Boy- strong enough to withstand tough conditions (hence why I went with a Nokia).

3) PDA functions. I'm sure this is common for smartphones, but I'm a scrub to them. I like my notepad app, my calendar function, digital calculator, file explorer, and music player app.

4) At least one camera, must be exterior mounted. I'm not a selfie guy, and I don't use video chatting functions on my phone.

5) Internet access. The convenience is astounding when I'm out and about! And my GPS was quite sharp until my device started going down the drain. Having my e-mail on hand is awesome to me.

I've started by looking at other Nokia phones (even considering a 3310, despite the lack of features), but I'm largely out of the loop. I appreciate any advice given, and wish anyone reading this a Happy New Year!
