Wondering if my protruding section of wall could have no studs? or studs would be too deep into the wall to drill to.I am trying to mount a tv on my wall that protrudes from the rest of the wall but I am struggling to find a stud. I have put seven holes in the wall in a 8 inch range where my stud finder has indicated a stud and hit air every single time. Here is the wall:https://ift.tt/2SSYnUv used the stud finder on a non protruding section of wall and hit the stud on the first try you can see that hole in the picture as well.I've used a black and decker stud sensor and iphone app studfind.Am I best off trading in my tv mount for one designed not to require a stud?Currently have this mount: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_blf_1_4?fst=fsl%3AAmazonBasics&rh=i%3Aelectronics-accessories%2Ck%3Atv+mount%2Cp_89%3AAmazonBasics&keywords=tv+mount&ie=UTF8&qid=1544986420Could get this instead: https://ift.tt/2CijU3H via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2EyO2u8
