I never seen this on here but id like to let you know I have been doing this for years and its worked great, I once had my laptop and everything stolen. and I used youtube as a storage for my live IP cameras. this is useful because if the thief steals your hard drives, you can just log into your youtube and pull up your VOD of your last live stream from your security cameras and see everything that happened.
What you do is enable live streaming on your account and verify your youtube account, click on start a live stream and set the audience to "private" or "unlisted" and tell youtube to use your security camera feed as the source and viola your live streaming your security cameras to youtube for free. No online storage costs and can be used as much as you like. I recommend using a software like manycam and you can combine up to 4 camera feeds into a single video stream in a 4x4 squares or 2x2 side by side for 2 cameras.
