Hello reddit! I'm hoping you can help me. 1 year into my house and I'm working on my dream basement! I'm still rather new to DIY, but I'm getting the hang of it 1 project at a time!https://ift.tt/2E6jTCb have a 15x4 ft closet in our basement. On one side the previous owners installed drywall, and they left the main part of the closet the foundational cinder block. What I want to do is put all of my video games on the cinder block wall, on some sort of shelves and get fancy with lighting and displays and blah blah. What I don't want it for all the games to be up against the cinder block. I've had the idea to put some sort of wood or plastic material backing on the cinderblocks, but I don't know how I would then fasten the shelves to the wall. I'm not worried about insulation, and would like to not add wood studs, as I want as much space as I can in the closet.Any thoughts would be appreciated! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2AJV0YW
