Hello Reddit,I am trying to fix a leaking washing machine. My washer is a Kitchenaid KAWS700GQ0. I pulled off the outer case and ran a cycle to examine where and when the leak is happening. From what I can tell, the leak only happens when the washer is filling, and only from the part shown in this picture here.When I research the symptoms online, most sources say that a leak during filling is likely a result of a bad tub seal. However, it appears to be leaking from the direct drive water pump. But that doesn't make sense to me, since it doesn't leak during the drain stage of the wash when the pump is active.Does anyone have experience with this model of washing machine and know why it would be leaking from this part only during the fill cycle? via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2Sow40v
