My wife and I recently bought our first home and one of the projects we anted to do was add a backsplash to the kitchen. We found some porcelain tile we loved (here is it), but had some questions about sealing it.Reading different guides online I got very mixed advice on sealing porcelain tile. Specifically, we are unsure if we should seal it before grouting, after grouting, or both. Some sites said that porcelain tile needs to be sealed prior to grouting to avoid permanent stains. Others said not to seal before grouting because it makes a worse water seal.Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated, we want to make sure we don't end up with failed backsplash! via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2T1NgZu
