Hey, so I finally built the courage to actually change a light switch in my bedroom. I switched off the relevant fuse circuit for the bedroom (and by default the hall) and started screwing the switch from the wall.Into the new switch I connected the common wire to the common and the the other wire to the one-way slot. Screwed it back to the wall and flicked the fuse back to on.The fuse doesn't click back to off (like you'd expect a blown fuse to) and no lights in either the hall or my bedroom will come on. I've never come across anything like this before. Hope somebody could shed some light on the situation because I'm in the dark..........literally. SorryI've included pictures but I don't know if they'll help at all.https://i.redd.it/2t4sx2lnmo121.jpghttps://i.redd.it/umxrhljpmo121.jpg via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2P9JFXa
