Hi all. I have chased out a few channels (100mm wide) in the concrete floor in my new flat to hide copper pipes in. It’s now time to fill them in so I had a couple of questions.I was planning on filling with sharp sand/cement mix. Is this okay and if so what ratio should I use? The channels are along the edge of the rooms and underneath radiators so low traffic. The copper pipes have been insulated to prevent corrosion.I will be laying engineered wood flooring on top with an underlay between. Do I need to allow time for the screed mix to dry fully or will it be okay given it is just a small channel along an edge of the room. How long should I allow it to dry? Thanks! via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2Gzf1rd
