I bought two pairs last month, one of which didn't fit. I went to exchange the pair in-store and the employee pointed out that the pair were from their Outlet section, ie. lower quality cotton, paper instead of leather tag in the back, and different rivets.

The style number I purchased doesn't show up in their store search now, either...

Has anyone else had this issue? Apparently, they don't do exchanges either, so I had to return the sale items and purchase their normal ones in-store instead... Pretty disappointing.

Edit: Some people are saying the cardboard tag isn't a surefire indicator of outlet vs. regular stock... I have no idea and can't comment on this.

What I can say, however, is the employee scanned my jeans into her system which then told her that they were from the outlet selection and couldn't be exchanged. That's when she explained the differences between the two stocks that I mentioned above.
