I feed my ferrets a commercially available raw chicken diet. Carnivora Chicken Diet patties are 9.19$/kg. Whole chickens from Costco I grind up myself are 5.49$/kg. A part of this is pet food is taxed, and groceries aren't (15%). Pretty excited about this frugal win, and the chance to use my new meat grinder.
