I was building a floating desk that needs to be mounted onto the wall via studs. I used a stud finder and measured out the center of the stud and drilled through 3 of them to mount the desk. All went well. Fast forward a couple weeks, the circuit breaker for the room where I installed the desk went out and it can't be turned back on. Did I screw up by accidentally drilling into a live wire? There's pretty much nothing using the circuit for this specific circuit (it's a room - only one light plugged in). I can't figure out why the circuit breaker would just die suddenly when it's lightly used... via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2SOkLP1
