My local BoA branch kept telling me my checking account was going to start having fees and when I tried to talk to them in person to find a way to avoid fees, they didn’t have any guidance for me.
So I closed my account. Then they said I couldn’t have a safe deposit box without an account, so I said, fine, cancel that too.
Then after they cancelled it, they told me no refund on the 8 months rental still remaining on the safe deposit box. So again I said fine, but I’ll keep the keys. But they insisted I re-sign some new rental contract against my will if I wanted to leave the branch.
I want my rental money back. BoA is the absolute worst.
