At the grocery store the other day, I saw an advent calendar for dogs. It's frankly not such a bad idea, but it got me thinking.
What happened to advent calendars? You used to get 24 pieces of chocolate for a few bucks. It was just a little treat for the kids. Now I see more and more $20+ advent calendars filled with anything from coffee capsules to makeup. The cheeky buggers, they invented the pre-gift!
