Im about to install a new floor in my ground floor bathroom but ive had very mixed signals from websites and places like home depot an lowes about prepping the floor.Under the tiles is straight up concrete and some people argue i dont need a waterproof membrane between it and the tiles but others argue i do.Its not exactly going to be a wet room but there is no step or divider between the shower pan the rest of the floor, but it does dip where the shower grate is.
