I have taken up two small projects, I want to make coasters and I am placing a zebrano veneer on the top but I don't want to put zebrano on the bottom (the coaster itself is mahogany) is there anything else I could place in the bottom to stop the wood from warpingI am also making veneer note books. The veneer is 2mm thick and the design is laser cut. I am thinking of gluing felt at the back of the veneer to give it the extra support. Just wanted to ask if you think I would run into issues.
