Album of WorkMy husband and I are from North Dakota and we completed our house renovation over about 5 months, finishing this past summer. We learned how to do everything via Youtube and our friends. The plumbing was the only thing we hired out. We also obtain a self-wiring permit, so we were able to complete all of our own wiring.If you are considering your own project, I would highly recommend using youtube to research how to do things before spending thousands of dollars hiring someone to do it. I really enjoyed learning how to mud sheetrock and tile my kitchen and bathroom - and now I have the skills to do it again in the future! However, for things like wiring, please don't just assume you know what you are doing. I've had some previous experience with wiring at my old house, and the city electrical inspector felt I knew enough to give us the self-wiring permit.If you have any questions about specific pictures, please ask!
