Or maybe more appropriately boot laces.
I have basically 2 pairs of lace up boots I wear. A "good pair"and a "work pair." The metal eyelets seem to always eat laces in no time.
I now use Ironlace brand laces which carry a lifetime guarantee. I have had one pair in boots for 4 years. Only complaint is the ends are get a little frayed because the plastic caps come off.
Maybe this will help anyone out who is having to constantly replace laces.
