A lot of the research I've done keeps pointing me back to very high end (expensive) brands like Miele. Are they really worth the price? I was thinking a roughly $5,500 budget for all six major appliances. I am not sure I'd be able to furnish the home with all Miele appliances at that price (although it is very difficult to find pricing online which is frustrating).
We're planning on living in this house for a minimum of 10 years. Could end up being much longer, but not guaranteed. We'll be doing a gas range, and top load washer & dryer. I'd love to do a wall oven with a separate range but that looks a lot more pricey than an oven + range unit.
What are some good middle of the road brands that will still give me years of quality, but also won't break the bank? OR why is it worth the extra expense to buy a higher end brand? Thanks!
