My friend has about 6 chickens and he's overloading on eggs and gives me some. I wonder if I can save time and money by having my own produce (eggs) we can certainly raise chicken but the housing and the like might be a pricey investment. Another idea is growing vegetables like eggplants, but for me, it just takes such a long time to grow them to be able to be self sustaining within a lot. It's more of a hobby nowadays
