Stocks are surging. It seems the market turmoil since Powell's last remarks in October, along with the commentary on market risk this morning, are throwing water on his previously hawkish stance. Good/bad thing? How does this impact your portfolio? Personally, I believe many equities are overvalued and rates should rise so that investors feel more comfortable expanding into other asset classes. I wonder if Powell is "giving in" to Trump, so to speak.
