Hi all - hoping you guys can help. I'm wanting to mount my TV on to my plasterboard, dot dab wall. The issue isn't mounting the TV, the issue is attempting to fish (1) an electrical cable to power the plug socket I would have behind the TV and (2) 3 x HDMI cables.I had the room decorated when I moved in 2 years ago, and did have Cat6 cables installed which did involve cutting out some plasterboard and repairing afterwards. In hindsight, I should have got all the work done at the same time. I really don't want to patch, plaster and wallpaper again.Unfortunately it seems I can't even get from a plug socket down to the skirting as the dot dab has been spread all across the length of the wall just above the skirting.Had a sparkie out doing another job and got him to look at this as a potential job. He said one solution could be is to cut a hole right through the plasterboard and blockwork into the cavity and fish the cables through there. Is this possible? any ideas on how I could get around this? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2JYFX1K
