Hi Everyone,I'm going to be installing hardwood laminate flooring in my house. I have around 700sqft in total, between a living room, 3 bedrooms, and a small hallway. Will leaving an expansion gap of, 1/4" be enough? I've googled it and there are different answers. I've read between 1/8 and 1/4 is enough, while others say 3/8 is recommended.I'm going to be removing all my baseboards so I can easily paint them. The baseboards themselves are 3/8", so if I can go with a 1/4" gap the baseboards should easily cover it. I really don't want to have to go around installing quarter round, or all new thicker baseboards.I live in Ontario Canada if that makes a difference. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2QdhFTX
