I live in Korea (South, the good one) and although I speak fair Korean, this basic knowledge of how things work will help me communicate more efficiently.
I'll cut to the chase. I had a large expenditure spread out over 6 months. (My savings are tied up, but I'll spare you the tl;dr.) I screwed up calculating the monthly bill. I didn't figure in the almost 20% interest. Derp.
The credit card company automatically empties out my bank account about 10 days before I receive my direct-deposit salary. Then they automatically disable my card until my salary comes in.
I've never been in this situation before. Is it possible to restructure the payments to stop this from happening? I know it'll be more expensive in the long run, but worth it to me. Thanks!
