I am a 21 year old student who is going to school full time and working part time/ full time Friday through Monday. I want to begin to invest into my future because I don't want to reach 55+ years and not have any savings to my name. I know that the sooner I start investing into my retirement the better; but I'm not quite sure where to start.
I get paid biweekly, which comes out to about $640 after taxes. I want to start investing into a Roth IRA because I know that the tax bracket is lower for me due to my age and Roth IRA taxes the money that is received, allowing me to take out that money tax free in the future.
Anyone have any experience with Roth IRA? Any suggestions on what i should do or how I should get started and what to look out for?
