As title states, Grandma gave me a $1000 (thanks Granny - you a real one). $1000 is a lot of money to me, but since it kinda came as a surprise, I'd like to have some fun and start an investment portfolio. Could anyone give me a ELI5 idea of what to do next? Based out of Toronto, Canada if that helps.
