So while my S.O. was job hunting we had to lean on my credit card and the balance crept up to about $2,600.
She now has a job and I think I can stop leaning on my credit card, but this is going to take some time to pay off as our budget is still tight.
My credit score has fallen from 770 to 697 this year and I want to turn that around. I only have one credit card and the money on it is my only debt. I can afford to pay $100 - $200 per month. My credit card APR is 14.99%.
Should I get a personal loan to pay off the credit card? Or open more cards to spread out the debt? Try to increase my limit to lower my percent usage? I'm unsure of what steps I should take to fix my score as quickly as possible.
Thank you for any advice!
