Hello all, if this is the wrong thread please let me know. I’m a college student (21F) currently struggling so bad I really don’t see a way out. Most of my anxiety stems from my bills. I go to a state school and take a full-time course load. I work part-time, usually about 20-25 hours a week making $9/hr. I get no financial help from my parents. The following is a list of my bills: Car loan— $173.00 Car insurance—$173.00 Phone— $116.00 Combined credit card bills— $85.00 Loan—$92.00 Therapy— $120.00
Those are the major ones. This is not including gas, maintenance, etc. I live in on-campus housing and I use a meal plan for most of my food.
I don’t know what to do. Both of my parents were financially inept and therefore I never had a good grasp on money or how to save. I made some pretty dumb decisions at 18-19, which leads me to suffer now. Does anyone have any advice? I’m at my wits end, my depression and anxiety are taking over, and I really don’t see a way out. It sounds silly, but this is 100% the cause of my stress. Any and all advice would be great.
