Hello, I am a smoker (looking to quit) and live in NYC where the air pollution is not the greatest. So I am looking to buy an air purifier for at least two rooms in my condo/apartment where I have a lot of expensive computer parts such as servers and would appreciate to have an air purifier to protect myself and the computer parts from dust.
I was looking at this specific model
It is a Coway AP-1512HH and what I like about it so far is that it has an energy saving feature where the air purifier will only turn on when it will detect if the air is too dirty and deems it is necessary to clean.
I also read that the carbon filter is washable where the Winnix 5500-2 (i think that's the model name) is not carbon filter washable?
Does anyway own or have owned either Coway AP 1512HH and the Winnix 5500-2 air purifier and comment or can comment on their existing air purifier and tell me what it is like to have to pay for the filters throughout the year? Also maybe the energy consumption? I pay maybe 15-20 cents here in NYC per kw hours depending on the season/month so I want to keep energy consumption low considering I already use a lot with my computer/servers
