I am completing my basement which consists of a mud room, bathroom, bedroom, family room. Concrete floor that looks pretty straight to me everywhere but I'll self level if I need too when the time gets closer. I am hearing some really good things about the Rigid Core/SPC technology these companies are coming out with 100% waterproof and much more dent resistant. I was going to install tile, but I am shying away a bit because of future thinking as in my kids damaging tile, messy install, messy removal if I want to remove/retile in 20 years, ect. Vinyl flooring just seems to make sense here. I am looking for a 20+ wear layer but just not sure what brand to go with. Coretec Pro Plus is SPC, Mannington has some, Armstrong, Shaw, Mowhawk, ect all have new lineups made of SPC/Rigid Core. Just wondering if anyone has any experience and how is it holding up to kids/dogs family type traffic. Thank You. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2PKk8Jn
