I am 22, still living at home and probably going to move out next year to start uni. My father is a grade-A piece of shit and constantly emotionally abuses both me and his parter (my step mother). His only redeeming quality is his money that he uses to keep people tolerating him.
He is currently using me for what I think is tax evasion, he sent upwards of six figures to my bank and told me to hold onto it for an indefinite amount of time.
Tonight was the last straw, if I move out, cut contact and use the money am I breaking the law? To be fair he never said why he’d be sending me money before he sent it and it’s not like I’m going to report my own family for tax evasion.
