Early this year, I paid 60 dollars in total for three months of phone + a good amount of data (can't remember exactly how much) with kogan.
Switched to TPG, got their new customer half price deal (15 dollars a month, 10gb, unlimited calls /texts) for me and my partner.
Had a month left on that deal before my price would increase, but have just switched back to kogan because I can get 17gb a month for three months, unlimited calls and texts for 15 dollars all up.
About a week ago, I was going to be changing my phone to a 15 dollar /3 GB plan and my partner's to a 30 dollar /10gb plan. (About the cheapest non-deal price I can find in my country.)
That means I will have no phone bill to pay till January. I have kept my phone number for years. At worst you lose service for a day, but it's never been that long for me.
