Kudos to /u/ogordained for the news threads. Great initiative. I want to help.
Just a gut feeling estimate tells me that a lot of useful news posted to /r/investing and /r/StockMarket seems to come from Bloomberg and CNBC.
One thing that has been bothering me since I started being interested in the markets is the phrasing "X happens as Y happens" or "X happened even though Y happened". This implied causality that in reality should just be read as "X and Y both happened". Once I started reading it that way, news became more useful to me.
Where should I look for news that makes me a better market actor?
