There is something of a battle of the wits going on between Suze Orman, who claims you need at least $5M to retire early, and Mr. Money Moustache, who thinks that's plain BS (links in sentence).
Wonder what the r/personalfinance crowd is thinking about this conversation. I do at time find MMM to be over the top idealistic, and almost a bit naive about life's circumstances. At the same time, I think his basic principles are some of the best around. Meanwhile Suze Orman making claims that you need $5M to retire, just don't sound right to me.
