I have a favorite long sleeved Tee shirt, dark grey, that I have had a long time. Cleaning the kitchen sink, I got a spot of bleach on it. I don't have many long sleeved casual shirts, so I was sad to see one of my favorites ruined, and set it aside to turn into rags.
Then I had an idea. I took rubber bands and put them on the shirt in a tie dye pattern, filled my bathroom sink with bleach/water mixture and soaked the shirt for a half hour.
Voila! Favorite shirt saved! It came out really well, kind of sepia toned with dark grey tie dye tones. Almost like having a new shirt, instead of a ruined shirt! So happy!
