My 30-year old Kenmore 15 chest freezer has finally croaked its last breath. I'm not sure what the model was (all the labels have faded out), but it's 43" W x 36" H x 27.5" D in size. I think it might have been a 15 cu. ft. model given its name, but if someone knows better, please let me know.
Anyway, looking for a new one to replace it. I'd like an upright/standing freezer this time, though, since chest freezers are hard on the back (and for my elderly parents who will deposit stuff in there).
Anyone have any good models you'd like to share?
Budget should ideally be $400-$500, but can go more if it'll last decades.
