Got a KitchenAid Professional HD (475 watts) about five years ago. It stripped some gears a few years ago, replaced them with no problem. It stripped them again last year, replaced them again. It just died again today. I haven't opened it up yet, but I'm expecting the same gears to be stripped again.
It just doesn't have the internals to deal with bread dough.
So, what does have the guts to deal with bread dough?
