Hello, I recently turned 18, and within a couple of weeks will be getting about 55,800$ from a distance relatives death.
I've never really personally dealt with more than 1200 dollars at a time. I currently still live at home with family, and right now tuition isn't a problem, though it has potential to be one.
What should I do to ensure that I can make it last, and maybe help out with my future in the long run.
I currently have no monthly bills, or debts to pay, though I want to allocate maybe 4k for a personal vehicle as I don't have my own right now, outside of that is there any advice on what I can do? There's no one really around me who'd know what to do, or is really responsible with money.
Thanks!
(throwaway account as some friends kno my main reddit nd keeping this on the lowkey)
