I have $25k. Should I pay off my car or remodel my kitchen?
5 years remain on the car loan and paying $70 in interest a month. $535/month total payment.
The kitchen is an absolute eyesore from 1957. I have remodeled the rest of the house, but the kitchen is the one thing about my house that would keep it from selling immediately. There’s peace of mind in the flexibility of being able to sell the house quickly. I don’t plan on staying more that 4-5 years. I’m doing the work myself.
