I tried looking for single apartments for rent about 20miles from my work. I currently live 60 miles from work, its exhausting to drive 1hr+10min each way every day.
So I tired looking on big websites like apartment guide, but they're all expensive. I decided to look on craigslist, but everything looks so scammy. Saying "bad credit ok" is a big one.
How can I get a good understanding of what the price of apartments are in the area I'm interested in?
What are some things I should look out for in postings? How would I know if its a really good deal, or too good to be true?
