I bought a cabinet, but one of the side walls had a manufacturing defect. Essentially, there are no holes on one end that are needed to secure the cam-locks. (I hope I am using the right terms.) Not only that, but there aren’t even any holes to insert the screws or the wooden pegs.https://ift.tt/2PoqqNI, I have already been given a refund for the item, but I was essentially told to just throw the cabinet away. What a waste! Is there any way that I can salvage the piece of furniture in its entirety? (I did consider using just the bottom half with drawers, but prefer to save the whole thing).I don’t have the appropriate drill bits to make the cam-lock holes. Even if I did, I don’t have a drill press, and I question my ability to get everything lined up properly by hand.Would it be reasonable to just screw in L-brackets to secure the panel to the base? They would not get in the way of any shelving or drawers. I don’t plan on moving/carrying the cabinet often, if at all, if that’s a concern. Thanks in advance, everyone, for your comments! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2D9lEho
