My nephew is about to be 9 months old this month and my sister is a stay at home mother. Her fiance works to support them and they do they best they can with the money that he brings home. They also have another child that is my sister's from another relationship, my niece is turning 13 this year so we really have not been able to dig any of her old baby toys out of my parents storage shed out for my nephew. We literally have only been able to find one of her old baby toys for my nephew to play with. They are on a very tight budget because they only have one income. They can't afford the cost of putting him into daycare so she stays home and does not work. I am wondering if you guys could please help me with ideas for frugal baby toys? Whether it be ideas for things he could play with that might already be in their home that are safe for him/his age or ideas for where I could purchase *a lot* cheaper gently used baby toys? I've looked online at places like Walmart, Amazon, Ebay, etc but their prices were still like $30+ for *one* single toy which seemed a bit much (I do not have children so I do not know their prices or how much baby toys are going for these days lol). I'm just an aunt that wants to help my nephew get some toys so that he can play and perhaps even learn some things while he's entertained/playing. =]

Thanks in advance! =]
