I'm a 19 year old female in Colorado who goes to college 3 days a week 8am-7pm. I work part time (usually 6am-12pm) the other 4 days of the week and usually bring home around $350 every two weeks. I'm trying to get into a place but it's impossible to get approved for a place solely on my pay. I've applied for 3 different credit cards and keep getting turned down for "insufficient credit history" which is none. I don't understand how im suppose to get credit history without a credit card. Do I really HAVE to buy something (like a mattress) and make payments on it to finally build some credit?
