I have no idea where to start and there is a very good chance that one of the submissions here will dictate a direction for this cash within the next month. I am looking to mainly grow this, for I recognize that this can be a seed to financial independence at a very young age. So an investment would be the best direction. Not interested in a car or fancy jewelry.
Where did i get the money? Basically for the past two years I have ran a painting business in the summer time and this summer was a huge success.
Here is my situation:
- Live with parents, and planning to stay with them for the next 5-7 years
- Have around $400 a month worth of expenses, can lower it to $150
- Would like an investment that will require little time, I need time to build other businesses
- Don't mind buying a house, just not sure if it is wise to freeze assets
- Live in Toronto, Canada
- University student, not paying for schooling
- Not interested in day trading or crypto unless it is safe, and requires minimal input
I am grateful for being in this position however I feel like an asshole if I ask for advice around this because I might get judged, so this is why I came here. Any advice will be greatly appreciated, even if you simply point me to a good direction.
