Imgur AlbumHey guys, we've just moved into a new place and hooked up a washing machine that is a few years old. The back is pretty tight and the drain hose takes some sharpish turns (See photos). Yesterday when it got to the drain phase of the cycle it stopped working and wouldn't drain. When I pulled the machine out from the wall and ran the drain hose straight into the sink it worked fine. I reconnected it thinking I had cleared the pipe and it was good to go. Once I started it running again (machine is back against the wall now) the same thing happened, machine won't drain and stops working. I suspect it might be that the hose is taking too many turns or sharp angles but am not sure. Is it possible I put the clamp at the end of the pipe on too tight? (Not sure how that would do anything though) Regardless please let me know if you know anything! Any help or advice would be appreciated. Please let me know if you need more information or anything. Thank you everybody! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2y30Bbg
