I think the last time I researched, you shouldn’t close the vents in unused rooms because it’ll make your system work harder / less efficiently than just keeping them open. Is that still the consensus?
Intuitively it seems to make more sense to close a vent in a completely unused room. I don’t see any research on how that is better than keeping them open. Seems like it would save a few bucks...
