Hello, I am looking to buy my first new car. I want something that I can keep forever and put a lot of miles on it.
I currently got a new job, with 78k as my yearly salary without OT. Currently, I pay about $700 in bills per month, as I live at home. I want to save up and move out next summer.
What would you recommend I put down on a car? And what would you recommend my budget be?
I was thinking 30k overall and put down 5k. Credit is good. Could I get a car at 35k and be okay?
