So I've done a bit of research, but still had a few questions and was wanting some help. The downspout near the corner of my house has a pretty weathered splash block, and the dirt has eroded away quite a bit. I need to pack in new dirt, extend the gutter further away from the house, and get a new splash block. I want to get this done soon as the weather is getting colder and I don't want to get any foundation issues with moisture. My main question is, what kind of dirt composition should I be using to fill in this hole that has eroded away? It's not a very big hole, but I want to completely fill it and pack it and make sure it's not going to re-appear later. Then I am going to extend the downspout away further and plop in a new splash block. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2CKGao7
