I’m rebuilding some electric guitars and I need some advise. The matching necks to the guitars had broken so I’m using one that may not match up exactly. Specifically what I’m worried about is the holes lining up. The necks I’m buying already have holes that don’t match. The guitar comes with a plate that the screw holes cannot he moved. If i screw it into the neck and it overlaps the previous hole it won’t stay and will probably fall out. I was thinking of filling in the holes with maybe wood filler and then re-drilling the holes. Is this advisable? I googled filling in holes and most were helpful but I couldn’t find anything about re drilling holes once they have been filled in. Most were about stripped holes and re-screwing but not about holes that may intersect. Is there any wood filler you recommend? Please help! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2yh6sKn
